Technical Information

What is Computer Science?Information Technology is a collection of science and engineering disciplines that specifically address the issue of transforming or processing of data by utilizing as optimal as possible in computer technology through the processes of logic. In the informatics engineering discipline studied is more in programming and computing, software engineering (software) for various areas of application in various fields of business, technology and computer networks.

What Learned in Computer Science?Basic knowledge in Information Technology is the algorithm. In Computer Science, students will be directed to be able to master the knowledge and skills of engineering informatics based on the ability to understand, analyze, evaluate, implement, and creating software (software) in the processing of the computer. Broadly speaking, the material in computer science can be grouped into several fields of science such as:
1. Information SystemsProvides basic knowledge and understanding of the concepts and framework of information systems, methodologies and techniques of designing, developing, testing and maintenance of software systems

2. Software EngineeringThe material studied in this field is the analysis and design of Object, Engineering Process Improvement, Inspection Software, Software Engineering, Database Programming Client Server.
3. Programming and ComputingProvides knowledge and skills to analyze problems within the scope of Computing, Parallel Computing, Distributed Systems, Technology Interagency Network.
4. Architecture and Computer NetworksThe material studied in this field is Computer Architecture, Computer Organization, Electronics, Digital Systems, Microprocessor Systems, Computer Networks etc..
Prospects of Information Engineering GraduatesThe field of computer applications is very broad, almost no living space untouched by computer technology. The breadth of the field of application, the limited number of systems analyst, the rapid development of information technology, and the high demand for software development provides a very bright future for graduates of Information Technology. This type of work is right for Computer Science graduates are: Programmer, Systems Analyst, Web Designer, Software Engineer / Web engineer, Computer Network / Data Communications Engineer, Government and Research Institutes, Others (telecommunication companies, banks , consultant or lecturer in public and private universities, etc.).
